Merry Christmas everyone. Finally I am finished with this card. I make a card every year to print off and mail to my friends. Some of you will be getting this in you mail boxes hopefully soon.
So I have had this idea for a long time but this wasn't what I initially tried to draw. I was going to use Cryahgan but for some reason I just couldn't draw him. Not in any pose that was print worthy. Seems Davon demanded the attention this year and I have had the idea of him walking down this street since last Christmas actually. This scene is inspired by the Trans Siberian Orchestra song Lost Christmas Eve. Interesting trivia for those of you that don't know. TSO is metal. Basically they are the continuation of the band Savatage. They merely changed thier name after a break of playing but it's pretty much all the same members. This probably takes place early in the morning. Probably 3am or so. No one is out. Everything is closed. It's basically a ghost town at this hour. But Davon (Thagirion's human form) is out looking for a soul. I gave him the red glow in his eyes as he anticipates his next victim. Such a nice well dressed man you'd never suspect what he really is. But I don't know if the glow works in this case and if I should do away with it. I imagine it flowing back and disappearing like smoke. I'm very happy with the texture on his over coat. Gosh the background on this was a nightmare. I was going crazy. Once I got to Davon it went fast and he's what I'd been looking forward to. I also tried some new techniques that sort of worked. I couldn't get the stars to look good this time so I just didn't add them.

Feliz Navida a todos. Por fin termine esta tarjeta. Cada año hago una tarjeta de Navidad para todos mis amigos. Algunos de usteds recibiran una en el coreo.
Asi que eh tenido esta idea para mucho tiempo pero no es lo que intente de hacer primero. Hiba ah hacer a Cryahgan pero no me salia. Parece que Davon queria la atencion este año. Esta idea de el caminando en una calle nevada la eh tenido desde la navida pasada. Fue inspirada por la cancion de Trans Siberian Orchestara llamada Lost Christmas Eve. Un poco de trivia interesante. TSO es un grupo de metal que originalmente era Savatage. Ellos no cebraron officialment sino dejaron de tocar y TSO tiene casi todo los mismo miembors. Solo cambiaron el nomber.
Esta escena pasa en la mañana como a las 3am mas o menos. Nadie esta y todo esta cerado. Pero Davon, la forma humana de Thagirion, handa buscando un alma. Le di un brillo rojo a los ojos porque esta anticipando a su proxima victima. No se si me gusta y si se lo dejare o no.

Everything looks frozen here,but Davon doesn't seem to mind.He just looks so serious and confident.Maybe he's thinking what kind of soul he would like to start his morning with?
