Solan Greets the sunrise

I've had this idea for a while and was amazed how quickly this was drawn and finished. Of all my human characters I think Solan's the easiest to draw. Anyway, here he is bright and early greeting the sun in his morning ritual before heading off to work. He's very happy to see his star again after a long night and full of energy. Here's another drawing I made with my character with their mouth open. I think I'm getting better though that was the hardest thing. I love this angle too, and don't see to many people tackle these types of angles. He's so bright and shinny too in the sunlight. I'm also quite happy with myself. I drew in those lens flares myself. Put them in by hand, no filter cheating. Now the text are lyrics from CandleMass's song AT The Gallows. It's a very good doom metal song but I just love how it starts and it always made me think of Solan.
