I want to promote my friend  I'm not sure how we met. I forgot how. I think through Gamma-wings.  Anyway she's been an awesome loyal friend. She loves birds, is very smart and draws very nice birds. Check out her art she could use some active commenters.



Ok so I have sort of started making my first drawing of my Doom story. It so needs a name.  It's in the pencil stage still.  Darn it I had forgotten how I hate drawing demon legs with those extra bends.  Thagirion has legs like that and well he's always a pain to draw.  And I'm still in the learning stage for this character. His name is Pyranax so glad I have a name for him at least.  

Well you guys know I love metal.  Kind of like everyone knows I love budgies.  I want to share two Christian metal songs I like. Now I don't usually care for religion in my music so I am very picky about what songs I like. But I think these are great examples.

Rob Rock's Millennial Rein.



This is based on Revelation 19. One of my faves.  There is a misconception that Jesus only taught peace and love and that Christians are supposed to be wussy push overs.  Hardly.  This verse is about his return and those that did not repent will be met with his sword and he will impose his 1000 year reign on the Earth.  The stories in the Bible are very violent at times.  Was having a chat with someone on my comic of George getting pushed about righteous anger and when anger and fighting back is good and healthy.  Here is a verse Jesus said that my surprise many that think they are experts but haven't bothered to actually read anything.
Revelation 3:19  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Jesus gives everyone a chance but if they miss their chance it is over.  The next time will be very bad.

This one is based on Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

It's about your strength coming from God. This is one of my fave verses since childhood.  I don't often talk about my religion but I am a Christian and this is the source of my strength and courage.  My confidence. I know what is right and wrong.  I have learned my morality here and because I have learned to be thankful and count my blessings daily I am a positive person. I know who to associate with and who to avoid.  I know many of my closest friends here are Christians so say so if you are. You are welcome to talk to me about it if you ever wish either here or in notes.  I and my husband Chris are happy to talk to you.  I felt the need to speak up.  I rarely do this and most would never know but there are times to bring it up like now.

Speaking of him he got me the hint guide to Doom the other day and bought me some yummy red velvet cup cakes. He's an awesome man.  I'm still not well but he's been there for me through this illness. I am sick of being sick.  I hope it will be over soon but I do see slight progress daily so eventually it has to end. I think I do still feel the best today in a long time despite still having some pains.  

Well I better get back to working on art. I just wanted to promote my friends more than anything so there it is.
